Omega is proud to once again champion Kid’s Mental Health through our participation in this fundraising event that we have come to look forward to. In the second Champion of the Crescent Stand Up Paddle Board event, Omega competed alongside a total of 250 racers in South Surrey’s Blackie Spit Park on Sunday July 16th. Paddleboarders from around the Greater Vancouver Area came together, to raise funds in support of Child and Youth Mental Health for Surrey Memorial Hospital. The big victory of the day was the $155,000 raised for the mental health programs of the hospital. The new Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Stabilization Unit at Surrey Memorial Hospital that is expected to help 1,000 children each year, is being supported thanks to this event and everyone’s efforts!
The Omega SeaMasters 2017 Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Relay Team, conquered our first heat before placing 4th in the finals. We are always happy to be actively participating in our community. This year, our team of four was Matt Crane, Nathan Crandell, Chris Burke, and Nick Sciankowy (as pictured from left to right above). Great job guys!
